Breakers West Wedding Photography | Dina + Bryan

Breakers West Wedding Photography

You remember Dina and Bryan from their Palm Beach engagement session we posted.  Now we would love to share their beautiful Breakers West wedding photos! We started out at two separate locations for some portraits with their bridal party and parents, carefully keeping the bride and groom separate so that they didn’t see each other until the ceremony. Next, we headed to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Palm Beach for their ceremony. After that we went around the gorgeous property at Breakers West Country Club to capture some more memorable bride and groom portraits.  Finally, we partied at their reception which was held at Breakers West.

About the Bride: Dina grew up here in West Palm Beach, has an amazing family that she’s close with, has a horse which she has had since her 14th birthday, and she has an amazing group of friends who have been with her for everything. She is a social worker and has been doing that for about 7-8 years. She got her undergrad degree in ministry from PBA then continued grad school at FAU with a masters in social work. Dina also shared, “I am moving to Orlando the week before the wedding to start a whole new life…scary and exciting!”

About the Groom: Bryan is from Sunrise, and he is very close with his amazing family. He graduated from UF with a degree in finance but left the finance world after a few years to pursue ministry. He is currently working at a non-profit ministry in Orlando with the hopes of completing his seminary degree in a few years. He is a huge Miami Heat fan and loves to play basketball. Of course his other favorite team is the Gators.

Their LOVE Story:

“Truth is, we’re both tempted to make up a spectacular story telling you how we met…like we met base jumping in the Grand Canyon, or we met on safari in Africa and I saved Dina from a pack of lions with my bare hands. But the truth is usually better than fiction. It all started in June 2014 with a simple flirtatious “smile” to a cute girl named Rejoice610 on the online dating website Three days later I received a reply with the subject line “Heeeey there!” from Rejoice610: “Hi! My name is Dina. How are you?” Now, I took this opportunity to really try to impress her with my infectious charm and glowing personality in my response. BRich26: “Hey Dina! (pronounced Die-na or Dee-na??) I’m Bryan (pronounced Bry-an) ;). I’m great, how are you doing on this Saturday evening?”

Ok, so admittedly, that was a pretty lame response….but inexplicably, it worked! Dina thought it was funny, and the rest is history. We struck up a lengthy conversation back and forth on Christian Mingle and a few weeks later, we met up in Vero Beach, FL for our first date at the Kilted Mermaid. We hit it off that night, and we decided to see each other again the next day. Now mind you, we were both driving several hours back and forth, me from Cocoa Beach and Dina from West Palm Beach to meet in the middle in Vero. You could say we were both a little enamored with each other.

Our adventures in Vero took us to the McLarty Treasure Museum, where we would wonder why this treasure museum had so few treasures in it (they were on “loan” we were told). We would also make fun of the video presentation in the back room explaining how divers would ruin their marriages and families to spend all their time & money diving off the coast of Florida to find sunken treasure. Over the next year our love would grow and we would meet each other’s family and friends. We both would begin to feel like part of the family & we would both begin to have a more difficult time being away from one another.

One year later from our first meet up, we went back to the musuem in Vero to celebrate our 1 year anniversary of being together. After a lot of planning & scheming on my part, and trying to convince Dina that we need to go out onto the boardwalk which overlooks the beach as soon as possible, she would eventually find a hidden treasure chest with a message in a bottle inside & a particular item of value tied to the bottle. After discovering that the ring was indeed real, she said “Yes” and that leads us to now!”
