Coral Gables Woman’s Club Wedding
We loved photographing Kenia and Ron’s ceremony and portraits at the Coral Gables Woman’s Club. This was our first time at this location and we got some amazing shots.
First, they got ready at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables. Here Ron was able to practice on the piano (a special surprise song he would perform later at the reception.)
Later, the reception was held at the Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne, FL. The room was surrounded with windows overlooking the sunset for a gorgeous view. They ended the night with the song “New York, New York” while their guests lifted them up on their shoulders. Finally, they celebrated the end of their wedding day with a sparkler exit.
Kenia was born in Villa Clara Cuba and moved to Miami at the age of 13. Since she was young, she was an overachiever academically. After graduating from University of Florida, she continued her studies at Nova Univeristy in Dental Medicine. She is currently living in NYC performing her periodontal residency. When she has free time, she enjoys dancing, karaoke, eating out and cocktails at a cool speakeasy.
About the Groom: Ron is an American-Filipino born and raised in Queens, NY. Currently he lives in Long Island where he has practiced as a critical care RN for 9 years. He is quite the foodie and is on a perpetual hunt for the best burger joints, pizza spots and pancakes houses. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t stay fit. His theory…..work out more to eat more. When he gets the chance, he enjoys a wide variety of activities from salsa dancing to a good smoke in a cigar lounge.
