Tiffany and K’vron’s Parkland Country Club Wedding was beautiful. They had an “old hollywood glam” theme with purple and silver accents.
About the Bride: Tiffany was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Queens, NY. Although American, Tiffany’s parents instilled in her a love for the culture and values of Jamaica in her upbringing. Tiffany had the privilege of attending private school during her adolescent years. Although she was not the first of her siblings to attend college, she was the first to leave the nest and dorm during her college experience. Although away from home, Tiffany remained focused and graduated with her Bachelors of Arts Degree in 3 years. Tiffany’s determination did not stop there, as she went on to achieve her Masters of Science Degree in Communication Disorders. After graduate school, Tiffany wanted to relocate to a warmer climate to start her career. Her options were California, Florida or Texas. A job recruiter set up an interview for Tiffany in Port Charlotte, FL. The interview was a success and she was immediately offered the position. Tiffany packed up and moved to Florida within two weeks of the job offer. Tiffany met her loving fiancé as a customer at his local repair shop.
About the Groom: K’vron, better known to many as Matic, was born and raised in Lionel Town, Clarendon Jamaica. At a young age, Matic took an interest in mechanics and learned the trade from his father. Matic moved to the United States at 20 years old. While getting acclimated to the U.S., Matic worked at local repair shops in Fort Lauderdale and Sarasota, fully focused on opening up his own repair shop one day. Matic pinched and saved every available dollar. Eight years after that significant day when his plane landed in America, Matic was able to open his dream shop in Port Charlotte, FL. A year after opening his business, Matic met his beautiful fiancé. Together they have relocated and expanded the business to include the latest equipment/technology and employ master technicians.
Their LOVE Story: Tiffany had just graduated from college and was job hunting. She went to Port Charlotte, FL to interview for a position, and while there, she stayed with her Aunty Maureen. Since it was the weekend, Tiffany tagged along with her as she ran errands in order to see the town and to get accustomed to her potential new home. Her aunt needed to get her vehicle serviced and decided to give a mechanic from her church a try, because he had just opened for business. Tiffany explains, “I remember walking into the main office, oblivious to my surroundings as I texted away on my phone. K’vron walked into the main office to greet me, and we exchanged a few words. I left with my aunt not really giving K’vron or our small chat a second thought.” The interview was successful and Tiffany relocated to Port Charlotte. Tiffany started attending her aunt’s church and guess who she ran into again? K’vron. They became good friends and eventually their friendship grew and blossomed into a relationship. They consider themselves a power couple because they motivate each other to do better as individuals and they support each other.
