We always love it when we get to travel to new places to photograph a wedding, and we were thrilled when Stephanie and Robert decided to do a destination wedding in Savannah, Georgia. Their wedding ceremony took place on a beautiful Fall day right in the middle of the historic Lafayette Square. This was such an amazing backdrop (with a lot of history)! Lafayette Square sits on Charlton Street and Abercorn Street right behind the Cathedral of St. John Baptist, the oldest Roman Catholic church in Georgia. Then, their reception was held at Bryson Hall on Perry Street right near Chippewa Square. The best part of the day was when we got to go around the historic downtown for portraits (on a horse drawn carriage too)! We also loved the idea of using grandmas for flower girls (you may recognize this photo from when we posted it to our Facebook page).
Their wedding was published in A Lowcountry Wedding!

The Proposal: “Robert and I got engaged in Juneau, Wisconsin on our annual Fourth of July trip. The proposal happened when while we were sailing on a boat. Robert had been planning the proposal for months and I was completely caught off guard.”
